Easy answer: the year they had the best team of the four, 1981-82.

Names mean nothing, results mean everything. Of four consecutive truly great seasons, their team that year was clearly the most dominant, from start to finish.

For sure '81-82, they led the league in pointsin that year. The only thing I dont like against that team is that they needed overtime in the fifth and deciding game against Pittsburgh to win the series. Pittsburgh was a weak team then. But its not how you win its whether or not you do I guess.
