Everyone praising Barky… all he did was skate for two minutes, steal the puck, cause the Blues to take a penalty, and score the PP goal to win it. Pfft amateur.

But how about the pomo timeout to get Barky back out? That was the genius difference maker. Talk about f***ing play of the season.

Balinskis show in OT almost rivaled it

Might had been the worst showing in OT i've seen in a while

Apparently that Bennett hit was comparable to famous Dale Hunter hit

The Barkov OT Shift

Also includes Award winning Camera work, panning to Bobrovsky standing while the sequence happens

Edit: was already posted, whoops.

Stadium looks full and lit. Barkov dominated. He played it like a best-in-slot raid character. If I showed the ending to this game to my childhood self ... I'd be bed ridden for several years.

Kaprisov would have done it within 1 minute and score before a penalty

If Balinskis wasn't dog-shit, people couldn't praise Barkov for those amazing plays at the end of OT.

Don't get the love they have with Uvis, but we've clearly lost the Adam-experiment now... Without ever trying to get him comfortable.

All this while playing an American-league tweener in his spot... It is pure non-sense.

Don't get me wrong... I found the story cool, older latvian "prospect" and all... But the man is just a f***ing tweener that should be a 7th defenseman, no more...

And yet we are still playing him over and over a young player with top-4 or top-PP potential... It's ridiculous.

Balinskis doesn't do anything, ANYTHING... People will say he scored a goal, yet if it wasn't for Barkov, Uvis would have lost us this game in OT... The two highlights of his career in a single-game.

Even Schmidt who looks cooked two games out of 3, even he shows more in one-shift than Uvis does in a whole season.

Adam Boqvist has more impact on the game of hockey one night in his sleep than Uvis will ever have in his whole carrer.

I'm done with this shit.

I actually kind of agree with you lol. I am not a fan of Uvis at all. For an offensive D he doesn’t have any offense.

9-2-1 in last 12 games

47 GF (3.91 per game)
30 GA (2.5 per game)

PP: 14 for 39 = 35.8%.

5 of those 14 from Barkov, 4 from Tkachuk. Reinhart just one. Seems the PPG's are not relying on Reinhart anymore.

PK: 28 for 35 = 80%.

With 3 shorthanded goals in there as well from Reinhart, Lundell and J. Boqvist.

Interesting game to sh*t on him when he has the GTG and had some other quality chances.

I don't know why he is labelled a offensive Dman. Except the one giveaway in OT, he was solid defensively, pair of him and Schmidt looked fine. It will not be easy to find capcompliant improvement over these two especially when they only make a combine 1.65 mil

Balinskis was good except for the awful OT period last night. I don't think he has ever played 3v3 OT in his life, so that was probably a fast learning experience for him.

When you look at what he's being paid, he's been fine. I think he will be the first guy out of the lineup if the Panthers can get someone to play on the second pair with Mikkola, though. Nate Schmidt has been excellent.

Yeah those are some fancy stats but what they have really been is inconsistent over the last 5 games even though they are 3-2. The mains have so many bad takes its ridiculous.

Keep seeing Blues fans on twitter and of course all the fans on Reddit calling this a dirty hit by Bennett. He glides into it, doesn’t jump, hits body before Neghbor’s head hits the glass and it wasn’t late. So am I wrong in thinking this hit is fine.
