Damn The Lil Smokies put on a hell of a show. Honestly one of the best ones I've ever been too.
Had an awesome night but just found out that a friend of a trip abroad killed himself last night. Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem. I'm so sad. So many people around my age that I have been acquaintances with or known have killed themselves in the last 3 months. I'm just shellshocked at this point. Sorry for bringing down the mood here but I'm having a hard time with this one.
Also just know that if anyone ever needs someone to talk to I check my PMs frequently and would love to hear about what's going on.

An 8-year old lost his life today, because apparently someone who I'd describe as "The Devil's best friend" decided to walk into an elementary school and kill his wife (who taught there).

The Lumineers are one of my favorite bands of all time. My sister introduced them to me some time in 2010 when she got her hands on their first single from a friend. Soon they were all over the airwaves and "Ho Hey" went huge. The wait for their second album was agony but it lived up to all the hype for me.
I haven't listened to them much recently because Cleopatra sort of became the music of my relationship from last year. I tend to associate music with certain periods of my life and memories. While all the memories may be good memories it is hard to think about them after the relationship went sour.
I think I'll listen to their whole discography today though. Might be good for the soul during this hard day.
