I'm adding your Kronwall to the sheet now. Do you have the details on his equipment?
I kept his equipment pretty basic Jersey. I just made sure that he had a visor.
But please if you want to put the proper proper equipment that he wore on the spreadsheet by all means go ahead

Just made Petr Sykora. Very easy to make took me less than 5 minutes.

Now most of the guys hair I end up putting as light brown. The reason I do this is when you playing any game you see a lot more detail in their hair when it's light brown and it still looks dark enough. I find a few make their hair dark brown or black it basically looks like no detail in their hair basic looks like someone got a black marker and just painted their hair in

Also for his play by play name use Sekera

Somebody please add him to the spreadsheet under New Jersey

Thanks

Okay, in the majority of photos I'm looking at right now, he is wearing/using mostly CCM gear. Additionally it looks like he has a pretty significant tilt to his visor so (with your permission) I'll add that to the spreadsheet.

Totally agree on this. This is especially true when creating players who did not wear helmets. Going a shade lighter on hair/eyebrows/beard can make a huge difference in added realism. Additionally for players who didn't wear helmets, don't be afraid to try a hairstyle that looks nothing (like the big permed out fro) like what the player had, as once the NHL 19 "glitch" makes the adjustment for the "helmet head" it can dramatically change how the player will look on the ice and in the game. His close-up pic/screenshot on the Appearance page won't look right, but you're never going to see him like that in the game. It takes quite a bit of trial and error or back and forth between the appearance/hairstyle and equipment/mouthguard pages, but you can really dial the look in that way, if you're willing to put in the time.

Added your Sykora to spreadsheet. Also... I added a column at the end of the spreadsheet (for NJ) for Play by Play names to be added (thought that would be helpful for everyone). Sapinvert and jocke7- I hope that was okay with you guys?

Not sure if it's been posted here before. But does anybody use Tougies formulas?
It's not bad and also he does give a spreadsheet full of formulas and the way he edited players and the way to edit certain players. It's definitely not the Bible but it definitely does help for anybody else that wants to edit and create guys

Tougie is a friend of mine in content creating so I definitely use his stuff if I ever add prospects for current rosters.. since he doesnt do any throwback ones

First time I'm hearing of this one, but will check it out for sure. On that note... do any of you guys have any good sources/spreadsheets for player attributes ? I'm aware of Gundee's, and I think I've stumbled across another one, but can't think of who put it together. I know most of us like to tweak those numbers, but I find it a lot easier/quicker to start with some base numbers, versus researching and comparing similar career players on Hockey Reference.

I use this:

All-Time Rosters (PS3 + 360)

This guy made more than 4,000 classic players for NHL 14. In that thread there's link to his roster save and the NHL 14 editor. Just download those, load up the save in the editor and you have attributes for all those classic players (anyone who played more than 200 games in the NHL throughout history, and more, like Sovjet, Euro players as well) From what I know, most seem pretty accurate.

That's an great research tool.
Thanks
I basically edit my own guys. For created players I kind of have a tier of a certain over all that I want guys to be at

I make my own all-time rosters in NHL 20 and go through a season. I take full control the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I do also play many games for Detroit, Edmonton, Vancouver and Philadelphia.
I combined the Minnesota Wild and the North Stars into a team. Did the same thing with Vegas and Arizona
Hartford Whalers and Quebec Nordiques are in my league.
There are 95 created players and well over 100 player edits in this season.
I play on Superstar, with no Trapezoids rule for the goalies and the old touch icing. Games that go into OT are played with Continuous OT on.
Usually I just simulate the games one by one keep track of the stats and sometimes I join in the 3rd period. But I always join a game when it goes into OT.
This is a fun way to play with almost all the teams in the season and get a taste of all the teams.
Also I use some old Sega Genesis NHL game music for the soundtrack.

Here is the opening night.

Halfway into the first round of my Championship playoffs, a few favorites are in trouble. The top seeded Habs 79 are tied at 2 vs the 2004 Bolts. The 92 Pens are trailing 2 games to 1 vs the 95 Devils. The Avalanche just lost their 1st game but lead the 75 Flyers 3 games to 1. The 2007 Ducks are holding tight to the 2002 Wings. The slighlty favorite 89 Flames are down 3 games to 1 vs the 94 Rangers. The 83 Isles and 87 Oilers have commanding 3 to 1 leads over the 2006 Canes and 2011 Bruins respectivly.

Glenn Anderson of the NYR leads the way tied with his linemate Nemchinov with 8 pts in 4 games.

Can't wait to complete this 1st round battle.

Nice observation. In my next picture, I'll show you my living room setup with my 2 tv's and video game setup.
NHL 94 is an awesome game. I have them all on my sega. Sometimes I go back and play it.

Just seeing the yellow memory cartridge was dope.
I noticed the tv on top too lol.
Must be a dope set up

I have 2 flat screens one on top of the other. I can watch the games and still play. My GF can also watch her shows and I can still play while we are both in the same room.
