Ovi was really drunk. The rest of the guys were more than slightly tipsy, but Ovechkin seemed a bit over the limit. Seeing him say "******* this sh**" was a bit much. That said, they all (except for the rookies staring at their feet) seemed to be having a good time. Glad I watched it.

Went tonight and it was pretty cool, but as in all sports, there's too many damn commercials. Foligno picked a pretty good team, I thought far more skill than Toews team. It was pretty cool to see people in person, you only see on TV normally. Saw Pierre Lebrun, saw the players walking in from High Street.

Being a lifer here in C-Bus, i keep thinking, who would of thought something like this weekend could of happened 20 years ago?

I enjoyed that far more than I thought I would. Glad I went.

We enjoyed it too. It'd been nice if they gave some instructions to audience before the show on how much participation (cheering, no cheering) was expected...I think many fans weren't sure how they want us to react.

Anyone go to Fanfest today? It looked like a pretty light crowd tonite when we walked into the Draft (about 7:15pm)..much lighter than yesterday anyway. I don't think there was any wait to get in and the activity lines looked much shorter than last night.

I think they'd have had better attendance if they'd just provided a schedule of VIP Q&As, Autograph sessions, etc.

XM Radio guys did say that they'd be at Arena Grand at 2pm tomorrow for viewing of "Red Army". But that appears to be a private event, as not listed on Arena Grand schedule.

What else would you expect? There was no one that would make sense when Peca left, there was no leadership around when he took over

Management was fine not naming a captain until after the season. All 3 Assistant Captains(Klesla, Malhotra, Modin) were still on the team. Tyutin, Vermette & Umberger(all future A wearers) were on the team, so yeah there were other options.

Management didn't "put him in the situation." Him opening his mouth, put him in the position. Same way him opening his mouth put him on fans bad side including the recently acquired Jack Johnson who called him out for his lack of leadership during the final game.

I LOVED Nash until I attended the St. Louis(4th row beside the teams entrance) game & I saw him look at an 8 year old fan holding a "Don't go Nash" sign, place a finger against his nose & launch a snot rocket on the glass towards the kid, then smile & skate away. I don't care who you are, that's a Grade A A$$ Clown move, & I hope he's booed unmercifully all weekend.

Can we keep this to talk about the all star weekend and not rehash Nash in this forum?

The autograph people were super weak yesterday, it was Cassells, Jean Luc- who you can meet anytime at the realtor office he works at, filip forsberg and eklan from Florida

Wow, so today's autograph people are worse than yesterday, Fred Modin and Chris Clark- both of which I didn't care about when they actually played, Forsberg again and Jon Drouin. I see why it was a secret now....funny how the commercials showed Ovie signing, pretty big drop off to Chris Clark haha

I won't be able to make it during the signing period but I wouldn't mind getting Aaron Ekblad. He's going to be a star in this league for a long time.

Did the 5K race this morning with the girlfriend - solid time.

Went to the fan fair last night, came across Forsberg with no one but two assistants around him as he was walking into the convention center - he couldn't even return a simple hello... Definitely will be getting some boos from me the rest of the weekend.

Overall the fan fair was decent.. I liked how spread out it was, made it a lot easier to manage the amount of people.

Skills comp tonight, hopefully its a damn good one. Tickets weren't cheap.

A flyers fan said tomorrow's autograph schedule was posted by autograph stage and most of the players would be signing including Ryan and Nick. I forgot to go look before leaving Fan Fair.
