I don't game anywhere close to what I used to but PC + PS5 is the way to go.

Literally 20 minutes after posting this I saw a bundle offer on Gamestop and I somehow was able to get. Lol what timing.Still trying to find an Xbox Series X, no luck. I've been actively trying for the past few weeks but everything is sold out the second I see anything pop up online. So frustrating because we're well over a year since it came out.
Idk I could never get in to PC games, I stick to the consoles. I had Xbox 360 then a PS4 so now I'm going back to XBOX.
The console I never see available is the PS5, I do see the Series X sometimes and I snagged one last year.
I want a PS5, but at the same time, it's hideous so part of me thinks I'm better off waiting for a PS5 Slim/PS5 Pro that's redesigned and a little smaller.

Thought this was big news:
Not getting mine until after Q2, whatever that means...Steam Deck purchases begin Feb 25, shipping out Feb 28.

I have to say that:
A.) I'm pretty frustrated that after, what, 14+ months I still can't find a PS5 at retail either online or brick and mortar. If I didn't have an extensive PS4 library I'd have moved back to Xbox.
B.) CoD Vanguard is ridiculous. The campaign isn't on the disc, it's a 100GB download, -and- if you don't update the app (another whatever GB download) you can't play the campaign/single player. OFFLINE.
That's my last foray into the CoD universe. That and it's the same old run and gun multiplayer that it's been forever. I'd give my left nut (well, not really) for a multiplayer like this to actually be realistic.
Any Horizon fans in here?
Very annoying how they did that whole thing, and also very predictable.Unfortunately me too. I got a reservation that very afternoon, after like an hour of it crashing. I still got after Q2.
Target and GameStop are your best bet online but since you already have a ps4 and I’ll assume Ps plus with it, you can just register with Sony to get selected to skip the line and buy one.
I think this new one coming out friday will determine if it can stay long term. If they can keep reinventing the machines and expand the depth of the world it may be able to sustain long long termI enjoyed the first one but I'm not sure the series has the staying power to be an all time franchise. It's kinda super corny, and a little P.C. I expect the plot to unravel a bit.
I got mine from target on an early morning drop. However, I’ve got 2 friends that got theirs from Sony. Took one a month and the other 4 months after registering.I registered with Sony in November and never heard anything.
Truer words have not been spoken. My PS5 was literally collecting dust the other day until I decided to play through SOTN on there for a week. Need this!10 days until Elden Ring . Finally a game worth buying , been slim pickings this gen
I’ve just been playing PS4 games on it, even though I also have a PS4 . PS5 controller is so niceTruer words have not been spoken. My PS5 was literally collecting dust the other day until I decided to play through SOTN on there for a week. Need this!
I agree. I basically was like "I just want to play something with that controller." Last "Next-Gen" game I played on it was RE8 back in May. Let's hope Elden Ring is a nice, long time sucking adventure but even looking at this year there is not much that's coming out that makes me go "Holy shit thank god I have a next gen console to play that!"I’ve just been playing PS4 games on it, even though I also have a PS4 . I still rely on the Japanese companies when it comes to making the best single player games. Sony needs to buy Konami and then give Kojima the reigns on new Metal Gear, Silent Hill and Castlevania games (Well, bring Igarashi back for that one).Game development is really hitting a dry spell.
It takes them too long and there are too many bad ideas.
Too many studios are just developing multiplayer games where they can charge for microtransactions.
The epic single player game is indeed dying out. GTA/Red Dead is a rarity and even Rockstar is taking forever between iterations. Oblivion was 2006. Fallout 3 was 2008. Skyrim was 2011. Fallout 4 was 2015. It's been 11 years since an Elder Scrolls title and 7 years since a Fallout 4 single player title.
Where are all the damn single player games? Oh, but they made an Elder Scrolls MMO and a Fallout MMO in that time.
Stop buying microtransaction games, people.
