AbsolutelyWould you trade Mailloux for Zegras? One for one

Love you as a poster. Disagree with just about everything on this specific player.
Only if HuGo believe Mailloux is not going to get any better and his hockey sense is non existent.Absolutely
Boggles my mind, he’s the Extra-Lite Mitch Marner or a Rich Man’s Robbie Schremp, great for All Star Games I guessWhy are we still talking about Zegras? He’s the last type of player we need.
We need to get bigger and stronger and tougher to play against.
Because they won't liikley be available. Why are we still talking about Zegras? He’s the last type of player we need.

Aren't we supposed to be a knowledgeable fanbase? Why want powder puff Zegras? Because he can pull off a Michigan?
…. A rebuilding team like Chicago would not have traded a 21 years old 6’4” 215 pounds3rd overall center 3 years after being drafted if he was a winner.
Hugo almost got him this past summer.I can't believe people are still thinking this clown might come here
Absolutely, we can take a chance on him. If it's comparable to the trade we backed out of, I say go for it.II would do if the trade was for expendable players. His contract is up after this season so they could see what happens and decide whether to extend him. Hughes knows him so if they were willing to trade for him there is nothing wrong with his character. Now presumably they wouldn't be interested unless they think he will play a complete game.

There's definitely interest from habs as scary as that may sound
I'm not sure they had to rely on pro scouting for guys like Newhook and Zegras. There was. They noped out of him during the first round last year.
I think that is another signal they need to look at their pro scouts in charge of identifying these targets. Zegras was a terrible target. He continues to look like a worse target. So make sure they don't make another failure of evaluation like that for the next player they pursue.

These guys were already well known to Kent Hugues.
I think Zegras was more Hughes/MSL connection than anything else. I think our scouts in charge of drafting for example are doing a great job so far assessing talent. Great mix of skill, speed & size which is what Gorton preached he wanted to build early on in his tenure. There was. They noped out of him during the first round last year.
