The All Encompassing Diaz Thread

I don't get you Montreal fans. I looked up the marks the newspapers gave him and he was on the better part of the team. Even yesterday the Journal de Montreal gave him a 7,1 (according to them the best player).

You shouldn't be reading the Ottawa Sun. :sarcasm:

I guess if you add-up the ''undecided'' (which I deem as more of a ''no'' than ''yes'' anyways) and the ''no'', we have ourselves a split.

He came back at the most difficult time of the season and as expected struggled, Diaz was playing awesome before the injury and definitely should be part of the team next year.

Look, I like Diaz. A lot. He's one of my favourites.

Clearly wasn't the same player when he came back for whatever reason. He's a good player, but if we need to add a D this offseason I feel like he should be the odd-man out. Unless Markov, Gorges, Subban, Tinordi, Emelin are options you prefer or more realistic options? ;)

If we can trade him, I would consider it if it meant adding a Robyn Regehr. Otherwise, I'd keep him. Good little player who will take this offseason to recover from his tumultuous injury.
