There was never a point where Girardi was -12.6 CFrel%.

Those are numbers that are almost impossible to obtain on purpose.

Yeah, I just threw that number off of the top of my head. I think it was that low for maybe a week when he was in like the 33 CF% territory. I was just trying to say that he's improved recently. It doesn't discount how bad he was earlier, but he's been better since January.

I like that he's playing well of course, but call me a skeptic, I'm not convinced this is the Girardi were getting with any consistency moving forward. Which is why I'm still firmly in "don't bother" camp regarding the playoffs.
