"It's got what plants crave!" They were actually making/selling this stuff for a few years after the movie came out (wish I'dve gotten ahold of some of it)...

Just think, if they kept producing it, we wouldn't be hearing about this drought stuff. :sarcasm:

As long as we're on the topic, I'm getting annoyed about all the "wasting water" talk going on with this. I bet a lot of the people who are complaining about wasting water are wasting water themselves in other ways. If I do the ice bucket challenge in my shower does that nullifying the wasting of water? What if I use my left over dishwater? Or how about I lay down on my neighbor's driveway while he does his weekly hose down. I've reported him twice to the city over a year ago and he still does it.

I usually don't lurk the Kings board but I stumbled upon this and I whole heartedly agree with your point. First of all, it was a viral marketing campaign set up to raise money and awareness towards ALS, why is anyone concerned about wasting water when tens of millions have been raised towards the disease.

I've also read about people saying that some people are doing it for the wrong reason and that people should stop doing it altogether. I agree to a degree but the fact that the challenge has raised so much money makes me think people doing the challenge to "fit in" are a non-issue.

Some people just love to argue.

Just people *****ing about wasting water and how it doesn't really do anything, you know, except the over $15M it has raised.

It's funny that people would talk about wasting water. Maybe you ought to ask them if they feel they are wasting water when they flush the toilet, because a pail of water and ice is about the same as one toilet flush in California (1.6 gallons).

So tell them to "go **** themselves" (Mahatma Ghandi famous quote), and give them that stat I just gave you.

As you said, this campaign has scored big in the research funds category. It is an absolute brilliant campaign where people are having a great time and they are raising money and awareness for an absolutely terrible disease. Whoever started this should get a Nobel Prize in science.

Oh I absolutely agree. I heard someone say how they're tired of seeing all these stupid videos. Hey ****, no one is forcing you to watch it. I personally love them.

Me too, some of them are absolutely brilliant in their own right. Check out this foo fighters one and for some of you younger fans try to guess what movie it's from:
