The 4 team conference final scoring leaders are German, Finn and American (no Canadians)

The Great White North hope! ;)

The TEAM leaders in scoring are all 4 non-Canadians, though. That is unusual, eh?

I am Canadian. I don't mind it. It just is surprising.

It is good for the game. McAfee notes Americans who are scoring in these playoffs.

Yeah, it's rare when you slice it like that.

At the same time, McDavid, Bouchard, RNH are 2,3,4 for points and Hyman leads the leauge in goals. So it isn't like Canadian players aren't up there either.

Wasn't it the same last year? Drai, Robertson, Eichel and Tkachuk?

And? Really anybody cares?

They all might've come from Saturn from my point of view.

Plus the goalies: two Russians and an American.

Has there ever been before such in the NHL playoffs?

Times have changed.

While your statement is true… your argument at proving something is flawed.

3 of the top 5, 6 of the top 10, scorers are Canadian.

Now here’s a better argument for the point you are trying to prove; only 8 of the top 20, 17 of the top 50 are Canadian.

Yes… the landscape is changing, has been changing, for many years but this is not new.

6 of the top 10 are Canadian.

then 1 American, 1 Finn, 1 Swede, 1 German.
To add to my earlier post:

The 6/10 Canadians who are tops in scoring don't even include Wyatt Johnston, Stankoven, Seguin, Tanev, Benn, Duchene, Reinhart, Verhaeghe, Bennett, Montour, Ekblad, Lafreniere, Kane.

All vital contributors to their respective final 4 teams.

If this post was meant to insinuate that there's trouble in paradise, I'd rethink that thesis.
