Im a huge DeBrincat fan. Yes please!![]()
Teams calling Red Wings about DeBrincat — The Fourth Period
As Detroit handles Dylan Larkin trade talks, some teams are also poking around on Alex DeBrincat.www.thefourthperiod.com
It is unclear if the Red Wings have an appetite to explore a trade involving DeBrincat, at this stage, but citing multiple league sources, TFP’s David Pagnotta reports teams have reached out.
DeBrincat owns a 16-team no-trade list as part of his contract and does have some control in where he ends up, if dealt.
The Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey Devils, Seattle Kraken and Buffalo Sabres are some of the teams exploring the market for a top-line, scoring winger and could have interest in DeBrincat.
DeBrincat scored 41 goals and added a career-high 44 assists for a career-high 85 points in 82 games with the Red Wings this past season.
if a center is going out in a knies deal, I think we can rest assured #4 is bringing us a center. whether we draft one or trade for one. That tweet is very sobering for Jets fans outlandish ideas on what they will get for Helle.
If the Knies and Carlo trade goes thru.
20th overall + Norris + Mrtka ?
I think something around Norris and Knies would work out for both, Toronto gets a solid center behind Matthews, with the emergence of Cowan and now McKenna, Knies might be more likely to get moved to give them a center.
It hurts us at center even more tho.
He most definitely does cheat the game. Blows the zone for o.i mean he's 23 years old signed long termed at just over 7.5m. he's huge and doesn't cheat the game.
I'd rather throw that offer at thomas or larkin. but i wouldn't be mad if the sabres landed knies for 4oa. our window is opening now.
I couldn't resist.

I'd love to see the following trade with NYR:![]()
What I’m hearing ahead of the 2026 NHL Draft: More trades, hot names, new info
Scott Wheeler's latest intel about the 2026 draft in the final hours ahead of Friday night.www.nytimes.com
It’s NHL Draft eve. We don’t need preamble or setup anymore. Let’s get into it. Here’s everything I’ve been hearing and thinking about in the final hours ahead of Friday night at KeyBank Center, plus a couple of last-minute draft ranking tweaks I’d make and some quotes and insights I’ve gathered over the course of the season.
I’ve heard talk of the Sabres flipping No. 4, and of the Rangers not shutting the door on moving back from No. 5.
I'd love to see the following trade with NYR:
To NYR: 4th and 20th OV, one of either Krebs or McLeod + D prospect for Trocheck and Schneider. Throw in Levi and/or 2nd rounder as a sweetener if needed. Try to avoid including Mrkta but Schneider is only 24, a stay-at-home RD. Would be a perfect partner for Power IMO. Also, they'd both be more comfortable arriving her as Carrick is already on the team.
that you chris? nice goal against the rangersI'd love to see the following trade with NYR:

Drinking and posting isn’t illegal, but it is frowned upon.I'd love to see the following trade with NYR:

If you think a hockey player in his 30s is the one missing piece to get you over the hump sure but otherwise yikes.
Wait.I'd love to see the following trade with NYR:

He called WGR..and hung up and listened
Back when they had the afternoon radio show on 107.7, Schopp hung up on me for having the audacity to call in to talk about prospects. I was told off on the air that the player would never to amount anything and we callers shouldn't be wasting his time.
(The player was Paul Gaustad.)
Amounted to a 1st round pick
Anyway...for someone who frequently talks about his desire to be right, he frequently hasnt the slightest clue and has endless confidence despite itBack when they had the afternoon radio show on 107.7, Schopp hung up on me for having the audacity to call in to talk about prospects.
