Pinelli joining in on the absolute stupidity of this team and a pointless poorly timed penalty

Haven’t gotten a chance to watch much of this tournament. I know Canada flamed out and I’m sure people are aiming at him because he wasn’t expected to make the team, but how did pinelli look? And the Swedish goalie kid, did he ever play?

Strahl didn't play.

Pinelli is frequently listed among the depth players that Canada shouldn't have brought, to make space for more of the offensive talents they left off, like Sennecke, Misa, Cristall, etc... People are upset about the roster construction in general.

But no one is singling out Pinelli, because it's really hard to argue that he didn't do his job. He helped set up the tying goal late in the elimination game, while most of Canada's top offensive guys couldn't score.
