So, someday it will all be worth it?

Some people have said that the main event of the playoffs this weekend was the Ravens vs. Bills game, but those people are forgetting something very important: the conclusion of the first ever Expanded College Football Playoff.

And it will conclude tonight in Atlanta on ESPN. Chris and Kirk on the call one final time this season. The GameDay crew, the MEGACAST, and the pageantry of this game taking place in SEC territory without and SEC team playing. But we do have two bluebloods in the game. There was a time where that may not have happened. We have #6 (8)Ohio State lining up against #5 (7)Notre Dame. Ohio State is favored by 9.5 points, and the over/under is 45.5. But the real advantage over/under may really be 1, as in the number of first quarter points scored. Ohio State has outscored their three Expanded College Football Playoff opponents by a score of 42-0 in the first quarter, while Notre Dame has shutout their first quarter opponents. The matchup seems to be on Notre Dame’s defense slowing down far more dynamic weapons that Ohio State has. Can Riley Leonard otherwise run an offense that can keep up, or can they slow down the game enough to give themselves a shot late?

Texas was able to shut down Jeremiah Smith, but Ohio State kept them out of the end zone for 8 plays at the end of the Cotton Bowl, the final play of that being a fumble return by Captain Jack Sawyer. Ryan Day, he’s not going anywhere.

Notre Dame pulled out the Orange Bowl thanks to a late interception by Penn State’s Drew Allar, thwarting the final of the sub-A programs from getting a whiff of glory. Marcus Freeman has been one of the stars of the Expanded College Football Playoff as Brian Kelly still seeks the resources needed to be in contention for a national championship.

So sit back and relax, and hopefully stay awake. It’s the final college football game of the season. Can Notre Dame pulled out their first national championship since 1988? Or can Ohio State, after winning the first ever College Football Playoff, now win the first ever Expanded College Football Playoff? They’ll be hoping it expands every season.

Kinda nasty we are playing this game with real life problems in the world. Like Global Warming exists!!! football does not matter!!

my wife looks at me and says "can we get a box only for Marcus Freeman"

What can I say, she has great taste in men

Leonard Touchdown.

First points in the first quarter Ohio State has given up since they played Indiana

Notre Dame really swung completely in the other direction with their jerseys. Went from no names on the back, to gold plated player names on the back
