If you know your QB is dogshit, why is that even the play call? They just ripped a big run on the play previous and Allar was having a horrendous night as is.

He got bailed out by a PI on Warren on the previous TD drive, they should've just ran it again and see where it took them. That was the dumbest play call + throw I've seen in my 2 decades of watching the sport. Just brain dead from start to finish considering the game situation

When Penn St played Ohio St back in November, their leading rusher was Warren a TE and the leading receiver was Singleton a RB. For as much praise as Kotelnicki gets his offense is inconsistent af.

I’m quite aware of how inefficient their WR’s are. I was simply pointing out that when he is your best option at WR you’ve done a horrid job at recruiting and developing.

Franklin is going to take some heat, but if Allar doesn't play the worst game of his life, they probably win that one pretty easily.

Okay, worst game of his life may be kind of dramatic, but the point being that loss is pretty much all on Allar. He even has a decent game, and they win.

I don't blame Franklin yesterday as much after sleeping on it but it doesn't help him that he decided to go back to the QB who couldn't hit the broadside of the barn as his regulation strategy.
 
I would love to be wrong, but this kinda feels like a 27-17 Ohio State game.

Ohio State is better and are playing their A+ game. I’m not gonna factor in the Michigan game because rivalry games are stupid.

There's to many maybes for me to talk myself into. "maybe our pass rush causes issues" "maybe Will Howard plays like he always does against Texas" "Maybe Sark stops trying to run his shit and schemes them up." "Maybe the offence shows up"

I hope we win, but I'd have it at the absolute most 40% chance for Texas. Hope i'm wrong!
 
This is exactly why I wanted Allar to go pro and have Pribula take over.

Hopefully the light goes on, but at this point, Allar is another Hackenberg/Morelli.

ND made better adjustments in the second half and ended up outgaining PS in total yards. PS got away with lots of holding too - espn called out one of them and Allar got bailed out by PI calls too, one was certainly a good call but the second one was ticky-tack.

ND could have played better too, they keep losing people each game, Leonard got hurt but the backup did well, several guys apparently were recovering from the flu. I don't think Franklin should take too much heat, it was a great game.
