I think it has more to do with the transfer portal enabling the SEC’s depth players to move on if unhappy with their situation.

The amount of high end talent on the bench at schools like alabama was ridiculous and allowed them to both overwhelm teams with their depth and at the same time deny those recruits to other schools

Yes.

I'd argue the ability to pay players actually benefitted the SEC more than any other conference.

If you’re Georgia why exactly aren’t you kicking an FG there with this much time left? You don’t get that flag the game is in essence over. Seems like an ill advised move bailed out by a flag

Not a first down but they might not be able to overturn it. Notre Dale needs to be more aggressive as probably a single first down anywhere the rest of the way and the game is over

Georgia would have won with their QB but I’m impressed by ND. Even if he was in game would have been tight. I feel it’s a total tossup vs PSU, neither gonna beat Ohio State though
