I don't think Byfield is available. And Cozens straight up certainly isn't enough to get him.Cozens for Byfield straight up; both are struggling after signing their first big contract

The only thing I noticed is that Blake is a weird GM, he often trades good young players.Assumingly so but who knows the machinations in the minds of the GMs
11. Buffalo has indicated it is trying to sign Jordan Greenway.
Well, Adams said a long time ago that he wants to re-sign Zucker and Greenway, we'll see. I like Greenway.
If we could do that deal, and then turn and work a prospect and pick for Carlo in the offseason, and Joker is dealt for a pick at the deadline. Clifton dealt for a low pick as well.Cozens for Crouse+Kesselring remains my favorite, realistic idea. I think Kesselring has a really good chance at excelling in a larger role, and he could be the answer next to Power.

2025 d core:
Byram (extended) - Dahlin
Power - Kesserling
Carlo - Sammy
x: Gilbert, Ryan Johnson
$35M on the top 6
Expensive, but honestly necessary... Having Thompson and Tuch on cheaper deals gives us flexibility here.
I do that all day.How would we feel about Rosen for Carlo (if we aren't on his list)? I think he's an option for Power's partner.
Carlo needs a PMD in a pair, then he plays better. Obviously Sammy is not suitable for this. Perhaps swapping Carlo with Kesselring is an option. You can also try to split Byram with Dahlin and make three different pairs with three PMDs for the sake of interest. If we could do that deal, and then turn and work a prospect and pick for Carlo in the offseason, and Joker is dealt for a pick at the deadline. I honestly look at how the Lightning put together their d core. Expensive, big, good with their stick, and nasty when they need to be. Byram would be the smallest guy back there, and he is plenty nasty with his stickworkCarlo plays the right side. I’m generally not a fan of that lineup because it looks expensive as hell, but sure.
