This can be said about any player. What is Quinn's problem? Why does he look so passive and disinterested.

I can't tell you what his problem is. We can guess all we want. I can say that we have inadequate Centers thruout this lineup and that definitely doesn't help with things but I do realize that for a majority of the season he has played like ass as a result of his own play regardless of Centers....but this is a matter of a half a season after having impressive season after season after season of AHL and NHL work. Outside of being part of a trade for a big fish it would be absolutely silly to sell this player for the types of players you are suggesting.

I think McLeod is a good center and is potentially having his best NHL season in terms of points. There is something wrong with Quinn and it doesn't seem physical, he came back last season and had a whole offseason to training himself well for this season but it feels like he was drunk for three months instead of work for the season. Sure he has talent but sometimes it's not enough, you need character, attitude and more. We can't just wait for Cozens, Quinn and other players like that to find their game again (if they ever do), we need to step up and improve the roster.

Ask JJ what the difference is between playing with and without Cozens to production. Man is going to make millions and millions more now that he’s gotten away from him again. They should threaten to send him back to Cozens line if he doesn’t sign immediately. Watch that value tank, brother.

In fact…do that to everyone. I can’t imagine a better incentive.

McCloud is ok but he is not exactly a Center that helps out his wingers as far as opening things up offensively for them.

You can speculate Quinns issues till you are blue in the face but it seems rather impatient to give up on a player with his talent after a grand total of probably 40 bad games.

And what are you suggesting, just wait until he shows it again and his character changes or what? Do you have a plan to restore Quinn and who should he play in the lineup instead of? And we need guys like Greenway and Zucker or their replacements, we need vets, and we also have Thompson, Tuch, McLeod, Kulich, Peterka and Benson, how do we find a place for all of them and improve the lineup?

Who should he play in the lineup instead of? Idk..Krebs? Krebs is absolute fodder. Greenway is a UFA and it is unlikely he will resign. Zucker is probably gone as well. Until they sign on the dotted line it is unwise to figure them into your lineup

I didn't even write Krebs, he's not a top 9 player for me. Greenway should be replaced by another player of similar quality or even better. Same with Zucker. Of course, if Adams doesn't re-sign them.
