Pham on wgr pregame. After the non retaliation from the Jersey game he thinks both Samuellsson and Power will need to be traded at some point (for doing nothing).

Who is buying Sam at this point? Power will still have some value because he is a big 1st overall D man and someone will gamble for sure, but Sammy? He isn't good defensively, he doesn't get points, he doesn't play with grit and when he does, he gets injured, and he is signed for 5(?) more years. I am starting to get on the side of the "buy him out" people.

There was Lehner's crazy eyes

Ah good ol Lenny- hope he’s doing alright.

Anywho, is Quinn movable? I feel like Quinn is movable.

And it bugs me how much of a wuss Power is, but whatever, he’s good so he gets to, I guess- but idk if I want a 6’4” star who isn’t willing to eat a punch, y’know?

Trying to figure out a way to have them deal Cozens for Crouse and Weber's contract which then means they don't have to pay people actual money next year and his actual pay is only $1M. Utah gets about $5 million freed up as well as the cap bump being discussed to go shopping. Buffalo shuffles things around for a player who is 27 and has a few more years on his contract but plays a much more robust style of winger game.

And they don't have to pay people. That's why it keeps coming to mind.

Crouse + Kesselring

Reactions: My Cozen Dylan
Chad mentions Corronato and Sharangovich here

It's interesting, I think Calgary has different good parts besides Weegar and Kadri. It also could be more than just Cozens, plus someone else, there are players on our roster that I think will go at TDL or in the summer.

Despite obsession, there is no reason for Utah to move Kesselring in a deal.
In theory, yes, but on the other hand, Durzi will be back soon, Marino is already playing, there is also Lamoureux, why not. Although Marino would suit me, but it is unlikely that they will trade him so quickly. We need to find a deal for the top 4 RD.

Samuelsson, Tuch, Cozens and Krebs have all been considered "tough", "physical", "captain material" or "playing the game the right way" at some point. The fact that it's those kind of guys that have become the poster children of this team's spineless way of conducting itself, should be seen as a clear indication that the problems start at the very top with this franchise.
Sure, blame and trade away another underperforming high potential player and watch him thrive from afar on another team. Or accept what we all know already.

I’m not opposed to trading Cozens. But, with the cap increases coming, by year 4-5 of his contract, when he is still just 25-27 years old, $7.1 million for a big, fast, hard to play against winger, who scores 20-25 goals and 45-50 points, won’t be at all crazy.
