Baker Fairburn kicking the tires today on a Trouba/Keider trade. Both have movement language in their deals, and being a conference foe, not sure either team does it.
I think in the situation with Trouba an trade is possible, I’m not sure about Kreider.

Whats with the Nashville / Pittsburgh trade? Dominoes or just a roster move?
Well, Dubas is trying to find a diamond for cheap, and Trotz is... weird. But as I understand it, Brunett trusts only veterans, and young players are not held in high esteem by him.

try Cozens at wing again ? looks good there for Canada, should work here too
He's not our future 2C that is forsure, I think the Sabres should be looking for a trade down that avenue. He should be at the wing position and if he still can't get his game back on track, goodbye.

I wish I could get Cozens in an accuracy contest to see if he can hit the targets or if he would just keep firing into the cardboard chest of the goaltender put in net.

But Sullivan isn't much better at the whole "trusting vets while not trusting kids".

I suppose getting a 4th in 3 years is better than losing Tomasino for nothing............

What I'd do:

Peterka-Thompson-Tuch
Benson-McLeod-Cozens
Zucker-Kulich-Quinn
Malenstyn-Krebs-NAK
x Lafferty

Rosen back down the 90.
I might keep Lafferty over NAK. Aube-Kubel hasn't impressed me so far, and Lafferty is a better PK'er on a kill that's definitely improved over the last stretch (though most of that is probably due to better goaltending).

We basically have three puckmoving PPQB #1 dmen. So far, two of them work well as a pairing, which is good.
As soon as Byram needs a new contract, decisions about asset management and cap allocation are going to have to be made, however.

If he'd waivers his ntc, what about Trouba? And how cheap could he be to acquire?

Trouba is bad. That's before you factor in his cap.

With Nashville it was as numbers game. Hes someone that sits in the pressbox and has to clear waivers to go down.

This off season Nashville signed a few wingers that forced him out of top 9.

Now they have a bunch of younger winger on ELC coming up that are passing him

How do we like Whitecloud as a 4D here ?

Do we have anything realistic Vegas wants or just futures ?

Any guesses on a price ?
