From what Chain has mentioned, Rosen may be better off away from Kulich because Rosen has a tendency to defer to him.

That was of late in Rochester. Over their history, they seem to compliment one another. I have a suspicion that Rosen was trying to feed his friend so Kulich could get back to the show.

Are there non-sketchy sourced rumors that he's available?
Just a thought. I saw from a Vegas fan that he wouldn't mind trading him, he's locked in at third pair and they also have Korczak who looks good. Whitecloud has no trade protection and Vegas likes to make trades. I think something can be worked out there.

I just thought that our dream about Carlo might be false. The guy has had a lot of concussions, I saw the last few games of Boston and he looked really bad. Especially since we already have Byram with a similar problem (concussions).

Buffalo Sabres
Listen to any NHL insider talk about this season's nascent trade market and the Buffalo Sabres are not far from their lips. This is the poster team for "better get on this before it's too late."

The list of players who are and will be available around the league is still taking shape and will change throughout the next few months. But, this early, the streaky Sabres have to be careful one bad run doesn't bury them again.

“I think, you know, I’ve made lots of calls to understand the market and what’s out there,” Buffalo GM Kevyn Adams told Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli last week. “This is a difficult time of year to make trades, not every team is ready to do something. But I’m open to different things and I’m not going to stop trying to improve this team.”

Why are we still relying on guys like Joker and Bryson when there is someone like Connor Murphy who we could trade for. I am pretty sure Chicago would listen and a 2nd round pick would probably do it. At 31 there is no way Murphy fits into Chicago's long term plans.

I think they'll ask 1st. The problem is that he has a M-NTC with 10-team, and Buffalo could be in there.

Will fix everything
There's a former 40 goal winger with some familiarity with the franchise who has been demoted to 4th line in Edmonton if we're really desperate.

I mean, we aren't THAT desperate.

Are we?
