What do we think of Brandt Clarke ? or was his name just dropped to see if they could get in on Pettersson ?

I also wonder if they decide to move TT back to center at some point if Adams might pivot and try to find top 6 winger instead of center ?

Kozak is up still too (forced them to waive NAK) and Lindy had very good things to say about him this week.

Marcus Pettersson a UFA. With Vancouver giving up a 1st they will probably go hard with re-signing him but if he hits free agency then its not a good trade.

At this point we clean house at the trade deadline and cross our fingers Pegula will spend money in free agency.

We need a top 4 RD and a top 6 C to start with, and that's just the bare minimum, then adding players depending on whether Greenway and Zucker gone or not, each one needs to be replaced.

Vancouver made the right decision. We were hoping they were going to be dumb and trade us EP, sucks they ended up trading the player that they should've.

I'm hard on Adams but you can't force the Canucks to move EP over Miller. We had a great package offered up for him that topped everybody's and Canucks just ended up not wanting to move on it.

The Canucks locker room may disagree.

Before that, there was nothing stopping Blake from trading Durzi, Faber, and letting Roy go. It's not like we really need Clarke, he's just not that type of defenseman.
