And I'm not sure about including Sammy in the deal. Having both Sammy AND Schneider in the lineup is what we should be shooting for.

You don't believe in Johnson at all? If we trade for Schneider it probably means Sammy is going back to Clifton and I don't like that. It's a sad Johnson never gets his chance in Buffalo. Even though he was drafted in the same range as Sammy, he has other advantages over Clifton and Sammy.
I'm not sure Byram will stay with Sabres, he doesn't get PP time with Dahlin and Power, although he plays decently, but I think he will want more. Maybe at TDL his value will be the highest, I hope Adams will find out Byram's plans for the future before TDL. Although I'll be glad to be proven wrong.

I know, but it doesn't affect his desire to stay in the team or not. I just said so Adams knows his plans. But there were already rumors that Byram wants PP1 and to be 1D.

I would really get Lafferty out of here if anyone will take that contract (term) and get Kozak up here for the 2nd half of the season. But I have a feeling that was signing Lindy wanted and trusts. But he is not fitting here.

Adam's is not trading him for futures. Thats what deadline trades are. Iy would have to be as hockey trade
So circling back around to Rasmussen - if Greenway is gone, he would be a size and PKing replacement there who plays center. Yes, he's got kinda lead feet and given that they keep preaching pace, tempo and speed it's an odd move. I just don't want to see what they would swing to make that happen. *sigh*
It works for getting bigger and such, but doesn't work for value if they're doing something like Quinn for him IMO. Also, not sure why the Wings would be moving on there now that he's finally rounded into usefulness.
