Whether or not Adams is picking up the phone or hanging up the phone it does seem like Adams is happy with his roster
Probably not, since he was trying to trade for a top 6 forward. He said it himself, the fans would roast him for that deal. There were rumors about Pesce before that. I just don't understand why he isn't trying to get different options, considering the team is in a tailspin.

Isn't it funny all of the mixed messages we get from the organization. He flew to Montreal and said expect no trades coming the answer is it the room.

These guys can't tell the truth

I just don’t understand why Terry doesn’t want deals, maybe Adams would have cut costs this way, for example, there are different deals.

Would of gave Kakko a try, but don't see KA giving away the brother in laws future picks either. Borgen back would of been good too.

If Sens are still in playoff race and Sabres are out by deadline, what would Zucker retained for half cost?

I'm not sure Borgen is good and he's the answer right now, although maybe a change of scenery would help him, we'll see how he plays for the Rangers. Kakko would be a good pickup given his pedigree and style of play.

a 2nd or 3rd is my guess

Carrier would of been better. But there sticking with their loosers.

Probably a 2nd-ish in a vacuum? He's pacing over 50 points which is just unexpected, though there is a lot of season left to the deadline for slumps and slow downs.

We don’t retain money even on simple deals like this. And people will still tell you they aren’t under financial restrictions.

Not sure if this was mentioned here or not. Friedman expects something is brewing between the Sabres and Red Wings. Buffalo's scout team in Detroit last game

Just great. Because I see nothing in Detroit that is realistically available that I would want.
Do we know who might be available there and what Yzerman's plans are?

I wasn't disappointed about Kakko ... but if they knew about Greenway last night that makes it a bit annoying
Well in theory they could both play, it's just that Kakko still probably has some potential and he's also a defensively responsible playmaker, we could use a guy like that too.

Yeah, prepping to get boned as they dig Compher or Copp out of the DRW roster and allowing the DRW out of their mid-tier filler signings that haven't worked out the way they wanted. It would be very on brand to get hosed by helping a team they are in direct competition with in the division.

Per Lindy, Greenway is having surgery and is out long-term.

So glad we couldn’t match Borgen and two middle round picks for Kakko.
Season's washed anyways, but I'm really intrigued by Kakko. He's the type of player you buy low on because the reward could be tenfold.
