So Cozens Samuelsson and byram needs to go ,

Honestly, at this point, I don't want Adams making any major decisions. If they can add a roster piece for futures, that's fine. I want the roster retool to happen with the next GM.

We have a five year backlog of poor decisions and inaction, do we really want to Adams will do when he's fighting for his job?

I think the step is clear, get rid of him, name an interim GM with limited power, and start figuring out how you can move forward.

Anyone else find it concerning Tuch has been invisible the last 8 or so games? He such a likable guy but he also shouldn't escape criticism.

Krebs' career path to me seems eerily similar to Danny Paille's. First round pick who "busted" when placed against expectations.......but was a solid 4th line contributor who played 582 NHL games and was a key 4th liner on a Cup-winning team.

I don't think Krebs will ever hit the offensive heights that many pegged him for.....but I do think he's going to become a prototypical new-age 4th liner: Good at faceoffs, good defensively, some abrasiveness, quick, fast, aggravating.
Krebs needs to grow another 2 inches and gain 20+ lbs of muscle to be comparable to Paille.

I rather have them do nothing I like to see Adams sink and get the boot.
He has the right attitude and arrogance to sink with his stupid plan that hasn't worked out for years.
Everyone can see his flawed roster construction especially the idotic defense.
I rather not have him make another stupid trade like the last major one he did.

If Adams is continuing to have positive communication with Pegula and is following his boss's orders, I am not optimistic that we will see a change at GM.

Adams is taking all the slings and arrows with the media instead of Pegula. I don't foresee Pegula wanting to move away from "his guy."

No it is not. I actually have a little to add. Apparently Pegula came away very impressed with the way Flutie led the charge at the Bills game a few weeks ago. Pegula also considers Flutie's time at Boston College and in Toronto invaluable as they are both hockey hotbeds. Just what I'm hearing.
nice try mate, we need as much comedy as possible right now

You know what? F*** it. Make Doug Flutie the GM of the Buffalo Sabres. Why not at this point

He is certainly struggling but I’d say it’s more on the opposite end of a lack of effort. I think the streak is breaking him psychologically as we’ve seen him snap at the end of periods and make uncharacteristic mistakes as of the last couple games in regards to puck handling which could be a simple case of trying to do to much.

Who on this roster will we (assuming we're still alive of course) in twenty years think back fondly about?

For me, I can see Dahlin, Benson, and UPL.

Dahlin for his skill. Benson for his attitude. UPL because I think he's going to be a long term high quality goalie.

We can certainly pass a lot of judgement in Lindy, but he’s arguably the most wel respected “hockey man” the Pegulas have had in house since the bought the team and inherited Lindy Ruff.

Siding with Adams over what looks to be an already exhausted and exasperated Ruff will probably set this franchise much further back than we can wrap our heads around. We’d go from a tough place to attract quality candidates to whatever is below the bottom of the barrel. Under breath the barrel?

And he’s still leading the team in scoring. Which I think is a reflection of how many no-shows this team has.

To me Tuch and Tage are “similar” players in that I like them both but if they’re going to anchor our first line we need very similar level of talent on the second line to help compensate. They aren’t good enough to carry Cozens and a struggling Quinn.

(I’m still hopeful Quinn finds his game. I’ve never really been high on Cozens)

Tuch has 1+0 in his last 8 games.

I don't have the stats in front of me, but every memorable Tuch goal I can think of has been on the rush. If he isn't scoring on the rush, then he isn't scoring. Lindy hasn't been emphasizing that sort of play (probably partially because teams figured it out in Granato's final year and have shut it down).

The problem is that others do too. Our top 6 just suck right now and don't do much.

I want to trade him. He won't be good when we could be relevant anyway.
I doubt he will be traded, but I have seen serious interest in him on other boards. They will need to decide this before TDL, as his price will probably not be higher.

Are you a Pegula cosplayer? 😉

I would even go so far that they are not good enough without another 1st line talent to help them.
They could need a playmaker or someone who knows the details.
Thompson still gets overcomplicated and sinking into old habits when things are not going his way.
Tuch could use his size more to actually cut to the net.
Peterka is more of a 2nd/3rd liner at this stage in his career.
