I just noticed this….
I know Romani is a shooter, but in 4 OHL regular seasons and 3 playoff seasons, he’s always had more goals than assists (ie 7 for 7 and counting).
Already graduating three prospects from the past three drafts sounds like a team being a victim of their own success.

Yes that was a really poor decision on the Blades second goal but overall he looked pretty good.

His production is making up for a lost year but I wonder how he does next year in Abby.

He is most definitely not ready for abbotsford, but with lekkerimaki and ratu graduating they gotta add that potential scoring touch. If prefer him to have an offer age year in the ohl to make up for the injury lost season

I hope he's rather following a path similar to Lekkerimaki: starting with a slow season, catching fire in the playoffs at the junior level, and ultimately becoming a legitimate NHL prospect.
Well I hope so too but how many top 6 wingers do we need when we have zero top 6 center projected players in our system?
Disagree on him not being ready for the AHL.
He’s already an overager btw, turns 20 in July.
Romani was drafted in his second year eligible and can go back to the OHL as an overager but if he is a legit prospect he almost certainly needs to play in Abby next year.
Also why did the Canucks sign Jackson Kunz, do they really think anything is there?
I know that he had a good stretch to end last season but this year as a 22 year old he regressed it seems.
Romani is more than ready for the AHL in my opinion. With his scoring prowess we will absolutely need that scoring punch in the AHL , especially if he continues to produce at this rate in the playoffs.
Had Romani played an entire season in the OHL at this level we would all be begging Allvin to secure him to an ELC but he is most certainly justifying an ELC now with this red hot form and showing why we took a flyer on him for his offensive upside
