Maybe we get Dragicevic if he falls that low but at 15-20 I doubt it. Tons of wingers and C tho, Brindley, Ziemmer, Gauthier, Perrault, Danielson, Heidt, Honzek, maybe even guys like Cristall and Barlow slip down depending on whose picked where.

Goalies are a crapshoot but it’s surprisingly deep for goalies this year. Guys like Milic, Ratzlaff, Augustine, Fowler, Bjarnasson, Suchanek, Hrabal, etc. Daniel Hauser has been stopping pucks pretty decent too for the past 2 seasons with the Ice and would be worth a late pick.

I've only done some light reading so far, but there is a lot of intriguing prospects around our spot in the draft. Danielson being at the forefront of those.

Generally prefer a forward at this spot in the draft too, but let's see if we add any more firsts.

Reinbacher is rated at 19 in the consolidated rankings.

We will almost certainly be losing Dubois and we might lose Scheifele. Perfetti, Lucius and Lambert are all listed as C but all might end up as wings. Lucius and Lambert are RHS. McGroarty is listed as a RW but he is a LHS. I'm hoping he develops as a C but he did not play there this year.

I'd say that C is our #1 need, followed by RD, G, LW, RW in that order. I don't see giving G a high priority unless a can't miss prospect happened to be available. I can't see that this year. 18 YO goalies are just too hard to project. Maybe take another late round flyer on a G.

My preliminary calculations yield a probability of jack point shit percent, plus or minus diddly/squat 19 times out of 20.

Having watched Moose Jaw play the ICE in the playoffs, I’d be pretty happy if we got Brayden Yager, if he falls to #19. High-compete two-way centre with great offensive instincts. 78 points in 67 games this past year and another 16 in 10 in the playoffs. He played well against the ICE.

Only problem is his skating is what I would classify as “average” for a prospect. Maybe not as rough as Perfetti’s or McGroarty’s was, but not sure how many meh skaters we want to take with high picks.

Been watching the draft closely for the past 2/3 months. Here are some of my favourites:

Danielson-Great all around game, been rising in the rankings probably won't be there at 17

Reinbacher-Strong right handed D prospect..would be overjoyed by this pick...but I would be stunned if he were there at 17.

Gulyayev- Super slick puckmover, looks like Quinn Hughes, left side D.

Heidt- underrated centre with alot of offence

Wood-I think he has huge potential to be a big time goal scorer.

If the Jets had a second round pick or 2 a goalie prospect in the form of Hrabal, Bjarnsson or Augustine would be intriguing.

Yeah, I’m really hoping we pick up another 1st. Right now I’m just going through the players ranked 12-32 by TSN. I can see us landing a pick in the 20s and ending up with two guys we really like.

I watched this kid live at an Ice game this season and I like his game. You have obviously seen him allot care to give us your scouting report.
