Alright guys, trivia time:

With the win tonite, LeBron becomes the first non-Celtic to appear in six consecutive NBA Finals.

Do you know who the only non-Celtic to win four consecutive Finals is?

Steve Kerr.

1996-98 Chicago, 1999 San Antonio. Won another title with the Spurs in 2003.

Kevin Durant is a fraud.

That's a tad harsh. He's a volume shooter, there's no doubt about that. But so were Kobe and Iverson.

It takes a while to learn how to win, and I feel like if he and Westbrook stay together, they'll figure it out.

8 point lead at the start of the 4th, at home, with a chance to go to the Finals, all the while eliminating the best team in NBA history (record wise anyway) and they got out scored by 15. And that's not even mentioning the Warriors finishing on a 9-0 run.

There is no way Golden State loses game 7.

Oh I'm not disputing it felt like they gave it away. But when GS initially tied it up, it wasn't like OKC had started to play bad. GS made 8 3s in the 4th quarter, so it's easy to make up ground doing that.

Now, the turnovers in the final 2 minutes? Brutal. No doubt about it. They went back to their iso tendencies and it killed them.

I agree with your game 7 assessment, I feel like OKC had their shot.

What the second half of last nite showed is that Andre Iguodala is the Warriors MVP. Dude's defense is off the charts good. his steal, then pass to Thompson for the go ahead three, when it was 101-101 was the sequence of the game imo. And he was all over Durant like a glove when Kevin tried to shoot a three to tie. I forget if that was the same play where he almost stole it from Durant, but it went out of bounds, but that gave OKC a way shorter shot clock.

To be fair to KD/Russ, if Klay wasn't in full god mode, OKC probably blows them away last night. Everytime OKC built up a decent lead and with a chance to grab a stranglehold on the game, Klay drained a 3 and killed the momentum. But still, the Thunder did what they usually do though, which was Durant/Westbrook playing hero ball (more so Durant, until the last 5 minutes) and forgetting they have three other teammates on the floor. Adams, in particular, was terrific. They should have gotten him more touches in the post.

I would be absolutely stunned, especially that they blew it at home (not so much because they lost, but how they lost). I think the Warriors are going to blow them out of the gym.

Given the momentum swing of game 6, there's no reason I *should* think that. But I dunno. It feels like the kind of thing that might happen precisely because it shouldn't.
