Thank you

I appreciate any complex world-building endeavors, and my appreciation with Star Wars is it provided a system/canon that stood the test of time.

Sort of like Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings stuff.

I don't get into the series as much as I used to, but I appreciate the framework of storytelling they provided.

But I'm a legit nerd who loves D&D and good world building is a huge part in telling a good story.

Yeah - before my cousin passed away from rejecting her heart transplant (this was over a decade ago, I've long-since grieved), she told me how terrible it made her feel. I certainly understand how it complicates the quality of life, even if it's supposed to help with even worse issues.
D&D is so funny. I always thought it was nerds and stupid until I got older, mix in some beers and some funny friends. It’s hilarious. In our current campaign my character is essentially doing drone strikes, aka vengeful smite or was it divine smite. Our DM hates that it’s funny. Barrackus is my characters name. Looooool

I've got a character I'm working on that's a wizard but he's a coward, so he's always getting scared into casting his spells, but he's also senile so he's constantly casting the wrong spells

Hello everybody

I just wanted to say a very heartfelt and genuine thank you to this community.

I frequently get caught up in arguments that I really don't think it's wise for me to participate in but when I do it frequently causes me to go back and double check the things I think are true to make sure I'm not making stuff up or getting things wrong and that makes me better at my job and protects against building false narratives in my mind which I might then pass on to other people and rightly or wrongly that actually matters to me a great deal.

SO...

long way of saying thank you for being passionate, thank you for responding to me in a way that frequently makes me want to respond with long arguments rather than just snarky short dismissive responses tho those can sometimes be funny as well.

I dunno... I just wrote and deleted a whole big long thing to @Raccoon Jesus cus I realized I was saying a bunch of stuff I probably shouldn't but I also had like four tabs open to make sure that what I was saying was actually correct and matched what I thought was correct in my head.

And that has real value to me.

Thanks Kings fans.

Also it's funny when you make fun of me when it's actually funny... which it is most of the time.
Get well soon
