He is going to be highly coveted much like Toffolli.

Boeser is younger and teams will be looking to trade for him as well as extending him so the Canucks should get slightly more than what Toffoli fecthed.

Add in multiple teams bidding + Canucks able to retain if they wanted to.

Id say 1st round pick + B level prospect/roster ready young player.

Taking in what the media spits out needs to be done with the highest level of reading comprehension. Elliott Friedman saying "I get the feeling of _________ " is massively different than "I have been told by someone that ________ ".

And in this case "Teams expect Boeser to be available" is massively different than "Teams have been told Boeser is available".

We get it. You like starting threads for some reason, but that title is not a fact, not even a rumour, and is fueling the circular causation drama machine that is the Canucks this year.

Can't wait for some "insider" looking for clicks, reads this thread, posts a regurgitating tweet, Puckempire posts it on Instagram, and another thread is started here claiming it as fact suddenly. Good times.

I'm not really counting on it, between Faber's raise (925k to 8.5M) and the raise Rossi should get (863k to between 6 and 7.5M). They'll have just enough space to fill out the roster with their ELC's.

Seems like they'll try to make something work somewhere, but they also seem more interested in Brock Nelson than Brock Boeser.

Call the Canucks and talk about Boesser

Probably can’t get the Penguins to move Rust or the Sabres to move Tuch, but you can try.

You could call Chevy and ask about Ehlers.

You could borrow Kreider.

You could have a free Brandon Saad.

You could try to steal Lawson Crouse from Utah.

It’s a nice time to want a winger.
