They have a long history dating back to the Burkie era of purposely creating false or negative rumours because they are denied any tidbits due to pissing off the owner after they ran a bunch of hit pieces on their family.
You can literally go back over the years and struggle to find one deal or trade they broke.
You will find numerous times they have gaslit the fanbase with false rumours constantly.
They said Horvat was staying, JT was going, EP wanted out, Demko as well and my personal favorite was when they said Edler was 100% gone only to sign literally ten minutes after the report came out.
