The Germans beat both group winners this year, respect! Now I regret even more that Latvia lost the semis, because what an ABSURD final it would have been: GER -LAT. Sounds surreal. But CAN - GER will be a good final, and one the tournament deserves. And both finalists deserve to be there. Canada was overall clearly better in the game earlier, Germany was not, but showed nerves of steel to equalize a minute and a bit before the end of regulation and then win it in OT. Congratulations!

Great job by Germany today, they really gutted this one out, thought they were done after it went 2-0 but they didn't quit at all, respect.

That's a tough loss for the U.S but I think they should hold their head high, expectations weren't sky high for this tournament going in. Plus they have a template going forward on what type of team to bring and a plethora of young talent in which to do it.

Not a lot of shots and a lot of the shots he did see were either deflected or on broken plays. That's a tough combination but yeah, he was real shaky and an NHL goalie shouldn't get beat clean from the spot that OT goal was scored from.

Just like in the U18 GMG, a team cannot sit on a lead for an entire period or it will come back to haunt them. Unfortunately, it's human nature. Players can't help themselves.

i still can’t believe it - this is the most exited I have been after a German game since we beat Canada at the Olympics in 2018.

I knew there was a chance at a medal, but I was talking about Bronze, this is unbelievable.
