Yeah I think unless Washington gets upset in Round 1, Leonard is not available. He was at the IIHFs last year already fwiw.

No reason to jump on really young guys this early until (unless if you're optimistic) the NHL guys that should want to show up to make their case for the Olympic team start declining the opportunity.

he did this last year though then bowed out....hopefully he leads the charge here cementing his place on the Olympic team.

Beniers needs to be here and a great add. That's the level of skill we should have in bundles for this team. Younger guys, some under performing but capable of being strong producers.

Speaks to the problem facing USAH when a guy like Helle hadn't even heard of the tournament until he was 21 and got an invite to play. Yes, he was a late bloomer and likely an outlier, but this tournament just doesn't register in the States at all, even for hockey players.
