Firdt of all, lehner has been better than carey ****ing price this season. Second, i noticed people started hating lehner ever since he said he supported trump. It has nothing to do with his play. People hated him before season started. And plz dont lump him with johnson whose stats are way worse.

To answer your question; lehner is the best swedish goalie after lundqvist this season and should playbin WHC. End of case.

I don't give a rats ass who he supports politically. I do give a damn that he has been prone to giving up bad goals at seemingly bad times this season.

Good to hear he'll get some playing time. I hope he makes the most of it.

As i said. Sweden obviously doesnt have the goalie depth. I rather have lehner in goal than some scrub in shl.

I guess markstrom is a decent choice also but he did have a poor year.

Anyone know if the Sedins are looking to play for Sweden still? I know they are retiring from pro hockey but maybe they would want to lace them up one last time for their home country?

We could need a physical stay-at-home d.

Daniel Rahimi? Been a beast the whole season.

Perhaps Nemeth who the Avalanche fans are in love with.

Jonathan Ericsson?

The main problem with Rahimi is that his positioning/hockey IQ isn’t good enough for him to use his physicality against the better teams against Euro competition he is the best pest Sweden has available.

Pettersson has to make it at this point he is obviously the most talented forward Sweden has in Europe.

Who couldn't agree with that? Dahlén as well. I really hope, Grönborg rewards their amazing play this season.

olle liss have been good this 2 games versus slovakia. he reminds me of andreas thuresson but with more skill. i hope they give him the chance in carlson hockey games.

Steen and Berglund available. Both of them always turn down invitation. May gods wrath be upon them if they decline again.

Btw what about Robert Rosen and Richard Gynge? If alot of NHLers decline those 2 could be a good duo. Rosen have never been better and Gynge have had a monster season in KHL.

Fast has been injured recently, missed the last few games of the season. I don't think he'd play in the World Championships. Lias Andersson could take his spot on that line.

:(

i like lias, but he is not ready for top 6 duty. but he can play on 4th line and do a fine checking job.

i suspect steen, berglund, z, lundqvist and karlsson declines:

Lehner
Markström
Hellberg

A.Larsson - Klingberg
OEL - Edler
Pilut/Persson/Martinsson - Rahimi

Gustav Nyquist - Mikael Backlund - Elias Pettersson
Mattias Janmark - Mika Zibanejad - Elias Lindholm
Pär Lindholm - Anton Lander - Patrik Zackrisson
Axel Jonsson Fjällby - Lias Andersson - Dennis Rasmussen

Quite possibly grönborg doesn’t agree with that because you know ”muh grinderzzz”

dahlen should be tested. 2 games against denmark is coming soon then there is carlson hockey games and sweden hockey games. the step from allsvenskan to world championship is very big.

regarding rahimi, the guy has the best plus minus in shl. he is good in defensive zon and gives a safe first pass. he was our best defender in wc 2014 before he got injured. he is playing on that 2014 level this season. having a guy that safe while being a physical force is a valuable thing for the team. put him on the 3rd pairing with a skilled defender and he will do a fine job.

Aah, have a feeling Lundqvist might accept. Maybe even Steen and Z. Nylander might lose in the first round (Tampa Bay if Boston wins last game) and Bäckström flys by after losing to Pittsburgh (?) in the second round. Steen (or Rakell) - Bäckström - Nylander !

VM-GÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖ-more beer-ÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖLLLLD!!!

PS: Ekman-Larsson - Larsson & Edler - Klingberg is a good start. And since we are a bit short of superdefenders right now maybe Kronwall - Ericsson can be persuaded?

Johan Larsson or Dennis Everberg will be the worst forward on the team imob.
