Home tournament! After years of doing bad we finally took the bronze last year.

Saw there is a thread already for Canada and USA, then there has to be a Swedish one.

This tournament is More important for me than gimmick world cup even if World Cup will be fun to watch. But most important will be the Olympics ofc.

Alfie the legend will be the assistent coach in gimmick world cup, i hope they bring him to this tournament too.

So to the roster....we have maaaany players in NHL. Even in AHL. I expected those who plays in gimmick world cup wont come to this tournament. But others who where not selected should come, chasing a Olympics ticket.

But as usual there will be some players from the European Leauges. I dont wanna see Heed again. Good with the puck but way too weak in his own zone. And for the love of God, PLEASE no more Sörensen, Pudas, Tömmernäs, De la Rose and Linus Johansson.

I would be OK with Steen, Lodin, Silfverberg, Hållander, Dahlen, Friberg, Johan Larsson, Pär Lindholm for bottom 6. Thought i rather have nhl grinders than them.

ASP i want on the team. No other D in the European Leauges are good enough. Goalies are weak too.

Something like that looking at current standings and contract situation. A couple dont have contracts but im expecting them to get signed rather soon. Not a super skilled team but lots of grit. The bronze is ours.

It’s not like the NHL wouldn’t have gone for a regular format if it had more time on its side. This takes time to set up with all federations and leagues. This way, at least we’re getting something that’s not a D-tournament like the WHC

I have tickets to the game vs Latvia as well as the quaterfinals. Let's hope we'll get a good team!

It looks like Raymond, Edvinsson, Dahlin, Carlsson, Forsberg and Eklund will be available. That would be a nice start.

I highly doubt Raymond, Dahlin, Forsberg and Leo is coming since they are on the world cup Team.

But it is a home tournament. I expect an unusual amount if accepts. Players like Rakell who was left of the team probably want to show that they should be there for the Olympics as well

Well Rakell made it to 4 nations, so we can forget about him.

Lots of interesting players in AHL.

Lekkerimäki, Linus Karlsson, Åman, Bystedt, Salomonsson, Lycksell, Strömgren, Lysell, Isak Rosen, Fagemo, Bemström and Noah Östlund doing great in AHL. Could be worth a try out to EHT. For sure more exciting than the Everbergs, Bengtssons, Ehns of the world.
