Team officially unveils new name - Utah Mammoth

similar to Dinamo Minsk of KHL logo

Which is similar to Buffalo's old logo

Tampa fan stopping by to say I like it all. I'm pretty sure in a couple years they'll change the white jerseys but for now I think it ok.

The logo is similar but yet better than to what I expected.

People are losing their mind on the MB.
thanks - I'm a Florida native living in Arizona, so I've been wondering whether to commit to the team that has been among the most successful the last 10-15 years, but starting to see the window closing, but also where I still have roots...or the team that left me, but has a bright future.

You could still be a fan of both nothing wrong with that. I understand re locating and (some people do) transitioning to the local team.

Opposite as me, but I think you knew this about me already (I remember once I was reffing one of your games in Arizona and you came and said hi to me before the game started). Hence what I did...

That's basically what I did. Gainesville's close enough and my husband grew up in Clearwater, so while I did transition entirely to the Rays in baseball (I had stopped following baseball when I moved here, and my husband's a big baseball fan so he got me back into it, hence me going with the Rays over the Diamondbacks - but the Diamondbacks remain as a "second favorite" team), I picked up the Bolts and Buccaneers. If they ever play against Utah (previously the Coyotes) or Cardinals, I know who I'm rooting for then, but on the plus side they don't play each other very often.

Edit: same kind of thing about the Florida Gators and Arizona State Sun Devils in college sports.

Edit 2: if I cared about the NBA I'd probably have done the same thing with the Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns.

I grew up in Northeast PA and both my parents were from Philly so naturally started out Philly. However I ended up not long after adopting Tampa teams early on also as a kid then because we used to vacation in Florida every year, I'd always call it my second home since every time I came down it was always soothing to me.

I never thought I'd ever end up moving down here but it ended up happening and being i have always loved it here so much more than in PA it was a natural fit for me.

My priorities are Tampa over Philly however

I never got into Baseball. If Phillies or Rays win I'm good.

Never got into Basketball but can say the same about the Magic and Sixers.

Football
Bucs 1a
Eagels 1b. This one is a weird one given the playoff rivalry.

My Favorite sport
1a.Lightning
1.b Flyers

Awesome! For me...

Arizona State class of never since I attended but didn't graduate.
Cardinals season ticket holder roughly 1993-2004 (owned by my family, I was a kid).
Coyotes season ticket holder 2012-2014.

:)

Edit: and ASU football season ticket holder concurrently with the Cardinals, but same thing of them being owned by my family while I was a kid.
Also ASU marching band member 2004-2005!
