Toronto had a 2-0 series lead against Minnesota and blew it

Cheered me up.

Minnesota is a VERY good team. Boston is gonna have to give them all they got.

1-1 midway through the first period.

Michela Cava opened the scoring for Minnesota, and the white-hot Susanna Tapani answered for Boston two and a half minutes later.

Maybe it’s because the women are smaller, but is behind the net bigger than regular NHL size?

The goals are regulation size.

It's a Best of 5 series.

Taylor Wenczkowski ties the game at two with about seven minutes to play in the 2nd period.

And now Hannah Brandt gives Boston their first lead!!!

Game 1 is WILD.

Moments after Taylor Heise's 2nd goal of the game for Minnestor ties the game at three, Jess Healey's point shot deflects off a Minnesota player to restore Boston's lead.

4-3 Boston closing in on the end of the 2nd period.

PWHL Boston played a textbook 3rd period with the 1-goal lead in Game 1: pressure, pressure, and more pressure on the Minnesota puck handlers. Very impressive.

Michaela Cava's pass deflects off the stick of Megan Keller and over the shoulder of Aerin Frankel to give the visitors a 1-0 lead towards the end of the first period.

Two minutes later, Sophie Jaques makes it 2-0 Minnesota.

Jacques used to be on our team until we traded her. Crazy.
