No exhibition games played as of yet. First one will be on friday against Hungary.
Good on Dahm for jumping in. He's still arguably their best after Freddie... Sogaard will get there.Updated roster

Denmark is the oldest team in the tournament. 29.88 years on average. So they need to start phasing in the next generation fast.Hopefully this year’s roster can get the job done (which includes staying out of any relegation race) .
Compared to some 15 years ago and not to mention when Denmark entered the Top Division, most people would be quite content with the roster above. You got players from the SHL, Liiga, DEL, NLA etc. including some who also have experienced from the NHL & KHL.
And without downplaying the impact of having your best players play at these tournaments, it is primarily the ”European” players, who have carried the load at the IHWC for Denmark and not the NHL’ers.
Would Denmark have made it to now, two straight Qlympic tournaments without our NHL’ers? Most likely not and any NHL players would have been a much appreciated addition, especially on home-ice.
But last year we also had a roster without any of our full-time NHL’ers. Ehlers was the sole member in 2023 & 2022. Eller’s last IHWC was back in 2019. Andersen and Bjorstrand haven’t played since 2018. Søgaard and Røndbjerg have yet to play for Denmark at the IHWC.
Although a entirely different discusssion, I would allmost argue that a more pressing issue, looking at the roster than the missing NHL’ers, is the fact that Denmark only has two players in the projected starting line-up under the age of 25. Lot of players have already or are soon to turn 30 and some are pushing 35+. A year or two down the road, the makeup of the roster could look a lot different (and not necessary in a good way).
They still have some good players in their D core which is not yet in their mid 30's. Like Oliver Larsen and Anders Koch. I remember they also had a good talent in Malte Setkow (or whatever his name was). I think he got drafted as well, whatever happened to him. Maybe injured or something ?Denmark is the oldest team in the tournament. 29.88 years on average. So they need to start phasing in the next generation fast.
the guys adding to Olympics could be difference makers. They are not deep but their top team will go be someone fits at the Olympics.Seeing as the bulk of this team will be making up the Olympic team, the Danes cannot be happy with this.
They will get some forward and goaltending help (presumably) but this D corp is basically it. It is nowhere near good enough.
