I was against this the whole way up into the third period.... Then he went into Patrick Roy mode.

I've never been a fan of Binnington, but he's definitely earned a measure of respect and I'll watch him with a bit of joy from here on out. Good on him for toughing out those soft goals and turning into a wall. He really should have been game mvp.

I don't know when but you could see sometime late in the second or third where he just looked like a different goalie. Like he wasn't going to get beat. But he did look shaky up to that.
