This will be even less intense than an all-star game. 4 teams playing pond hockey.

At least Canada vs. USA, on paper, should be an incredible matchup. Just pray at least one of them (likely Brady Tkachuk or Tom Wilson) instigate things so we get something resembling an actual pro hockey game where they play like there's something on the line.

Admittedly I haven't followed him closely but is Sanheim actually that good? He was super hyped years back when the Flyers were supposed to have a lot young guys coming up, but feel like I haven't heard much about him the last few years, probably cause Philly has generally stunk overall.

Admittedly I haven't followed him closely but is Sanheim actually that good? He was super hyped years back when the Flyers were supposed to have a lot young guys coming up, but feel like I haven't heard much about him the last few years, probably cause Philly has generally stunk overall.

Hes been steadily getting better every year and has been dynamite so far this year. 6'4 225 lbs. who is a good skater and eats a ton of minutes (top 5 in the NHL for minutes played I think). 5 goals and 15 points on the year. Maybe signals that Canada is going for a bigger lineup on the NHL ice.

Players will of course say nice things about this tournament publicly, but I'm sure there will be players on the bubble who will be thrilled when they don't get picked. International hockey ain't what is used to be, that's for damn sure.
