8 days until Canada are playing Austria in Europe, and they have just 5 "confirmed" players in Celebrini, Konecny, Sanheim, O'Reilly and Weegar,
Another 2 "semi-confirmed" in Kadri and Montour. (Only seen one tweet about them). But still, its strange when we have seen multiple players wanting to go "if asked". US have around 20 already "confirmed", and Sweden og Finland, Czech Rep is basically finished as well.

Last year they announced the squad the day they arrived Europe, so around May 3 is my guess. But there should be some info from journalists coming around when players have accepted. Still waiting though... :p
i Hope Canada cares about this tournament this year. Team Sweden are getting a strong team in home this year.. hope Canada can compete with them

Be careful what you wish for. Since 2018 generally the worse Canada's roster the better the result. It's nonsense but that sort of fits for this tournament.
of course they care. since 2015, they have only come back empty handed 2 times... and those were 4th places finishes. I always find this argument ridiculous. Just because they don't ice the powerful team every year doesn't mean they don't care...
