WC: Team Canada 2025

If Bedard doesn't go, I will lose respect for him - my loss of respect for him will likely keep him up at night.

If LAF doesn't go, I'd lose respect for him, as well, but I have none left to lose.

It's 2 lousy weeks. After that, you have all summer to yourself.

I think Bedard needs the rest. Laf should go, but Bedard needs a break.

Eh, he has a long summer ahead of him and hasn't played meaningful games in months. He's 19. As long as he is physically healthy, and he played all 82 games, I'd say he benefits more from going.

Would be a good add. Friends with Bedard too.

No word on LAF or Bedard? Both should be insisting they go.

LAF is the Bart Simpson of the NHL...

All the time I wasted rooted for LAF. Grrrr. I've truly grown to hate that kid. LOL.

Awesome, big credit to O'Reilly. I think this will be his seventh time going to this tournament. Still legitimately a very good player and someone that young guys can learn from.
It seems to me that none of the current players of the Canadian national team went to the World Championships so often.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!

Literally getting every player at the top of our list so far.

Weegar is a gamer man, should have been on the Four Nations team top 6, what an addition.

Definitely. Duchene went a bunch but not 7 times. I think he's one behind Smyth and I would be shocked if any other Canadian NHLer has ever gone so often. Even Doan only went six times I think.

Why has nobody asked Fantilli yet? lol not like Dubas is busy right now! Has the making of a really strong team. Curious where we end up with the goalies.
As I said in the U.S. forum, get Daccord on board - pull some strings and print that Canadian passport. If he plays well, he might be a goalie at the Olympics and win Gold. He has ZERO chance of playing for the U.S. in Turin.

As for Fantilli... I agree. Should be a no brainer. They have probably asked and they are waiting on his response.

Some combination of Talbot, Montembeault, Greaves, and Daccord if willing would be great I think.
