Would love to see Bedard go, but I’m not sure what he’s got in the tank, might be a good opportunity for him to rest.

Celebrini, Fantili, Konecny, Horvat, Zelweger, McTavish, Dobson, Lafreniere has a lot to prove, Tiffoli is a gamer, McCann, Stephenson, Wright, Dunn would be a big get, Guenther, Hayton, Power, Byram, Quinn, Benson, Weegar, Zary, Johnson.

Lots of potential for this team.

I have ticket for canada game, if i would see crosby it would be dream come true. But i highly doubt that. Sid have interest just on olympic i think. Also he played for canada in 4nation cup. It is maybe 1 percent chance .. maybe if colordo would loss in PO and his buddy mackinnon would go. But hope is there still

I could see Sid playing. Why not? His career is coming to an end and he might want one last kick at the can.

He's a RFA. RFAs don't tend to accept invites. It happens...but not too often.

I would like to see him accept an invite and reunite with Bedard for some World Junior magic.

I actually think its kind of a "expected" one. On the bubble for Olympics, and need to show himself at the Worlds. @1Gold Standard also had him in his team.

Woah!! Two big gets right out of the gate!! Both guys are bubble players for the big one in February 2026, and both are capable of changing a game.

This team could actually be massive! Some young and good guns in Bedard, Celebrini, Fantilli, Guenther, with some bubbles in Konecny, Sanheim, Suzuki, Horvat, Weegar etc. Throw in a Crosby in the mix and you have one heck of a team.

Excellent start, have to think that they enjoyed the four nations experience and are pushing for the Olympics. Sanheim is in contention but I'd think he'll probably get bumped. Konecny should still probably make the team as he is one of Canada's best even strength producers for years now (tenth among Canadians at the moment) and has some versatility but he's still a bubble guy. Strong building blocks for this level though.

Hopefully this is an indication of a strong team incoming. The incentive is there with the Olympics. Sometimes the announcements start strong but then peter out.... will be interesting to see.

Looking at the squad Canada had in 4-nations, only 3 players comes from teams not in a playoff-spot.

Konecny, Sanheim & Crosby. So its really the perfect time for the Flyers-boys to take the opportunity to secure their spots in the Olympics with some good play.

Me neither really. But Suzuki should say yes if he wants to compete for a spot in the Olympics. (First MTL have to lose in playoff though)
