The mews votes are surprising. He had a really poor year and doesn't exactly play defense.

It's possible he can rebound, but I think he needs a change of scenery, perhaps.

Can’t believe Surin went ahead of this pick. I’m praying the Ducks get him with one of their picks around here.

Badinka.

I don't mind Stiga (wouldn't be my pick) but I think it's funny he's dominating the early poll. For everyone on the Ducks board who complains about size and were knocking Demidov early on.. News for you Stiga is a small child. lol

Pretty big difference between taking someone smaller #3 as opposed to #31. That said, size isn't a concern for me with Demidov at all. The Russia factor is the only thing that gives me pause with him.

From what I had been reading Stiga shouldn't even be available at #31 so I went with him since Hemming wasn't added on the poll yet and I didn't hear much about any of the other guys in the poll.
Ritchie is on my DND because his name is bad bad luck.

I like stiga, but don’t think he fits what pv is building

Big fan of mews, right handed shot…. And I think he’s a guy that will jump up redrafts in a few years(also don’t expect him to be available at 31)

Massé seems like a good fit/compliment…. We do tend to go to qmjhl a bit in recent years…. Wouldn’t be shocked to see us dip there again with Massé

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Sam o rielly be our pick tho.

I went with mews for poll, but if this is how it lines up on draft day I think we pick Massé

Seems like Badinka is getting slept on a bit, I'd gladly give up one of our many picks to move up a bit and make sure we land Badinka or Emery.

Badinka is a right shot D, 6'3 but moves well and shows composure with the puck, spent the majority of his draft season playing in the SHL. Pretty well rounded prospect, high floor and not without upside. Would be a great later first or early second.

If we don't know what Verbeek is going to do at #3, how can we predict what he'll do 28 picks later?

To be fair I don’t think any teams really know what they are going to do outside of the sharks at #1, hawks prob know who they are going but I think as far as public knows it’s prob between levshunov/Demidov/silayev…. Rest of the teams really have to wait and see what Chicago does.

This is just a fun exercise running throughout HFboards until the actual draft. At the very least, it might make you look up some potential prospects based on the polling or picks ahead of the Ducks.
