Proposal: TBL trade proposal for Crouse

Could something be built around Howard+ one of Raddysh/Perbix for Crouse ? Utah is building for future picks up a top 6 forward prospect and a top 6 defenseman. The lightning need to get bigger and more physical on the bottom 9 forwards because we havent replaced Coleman, Goodrow, Maroon, or Perry type guys in the bottom 9 forwards.

Crouse (50% retained) +1st for Cirelli. That would be a deal I'd make. We have a surplus of top 6 forwards and paul/geekie can move up and down top 6.

Away from Tampa is Cirelli much better than Hayton? I would rather keep the 1st. and add a prospect. Something like what BA and Tampa did last year in the Sergy trade.

Not sure he will be as good in Utah but yes Cirelli is much better than Hayton. He didn't get picked for 4 Nations because he knows the coach.

I guess I was setting the bar quite low.

Cirelli isn't worth nearly that much.

I would say Cirelli is Hayton, just 3 years further along the development curve.
That's an asset I'd like to add. Of course, I'd rather target someone bigger, with more offensive potential, but I won't hold my breath on that and wouldn't walk away from this deal ,hoping for a better one.

That's an apt comparison.

In a vacuum I'd like to add Cirelli to our roster, but that would be if we somehow got him for free. The cost to acquire him is not, however, worth it to me.
