TBL at PIT Sun Jan 12 @5pm

He has faced 14 f***ing shots and failed to do his job 3 times. How on earth do people continue to defend someone who has such a low success rate? Jarry has been failing this franchise for YEARS.
I mean, to be fair, that breakaway they handed Kucherov really isn’t on Jarry.

Yeah, you hope he makes the save, but giving one of the best offensive players in the league a free breakaway isn’t really on the goalie…

We need to talk about Kevin (Kyle)..

Seriously, Dubas doesn't get enough heat for the state this team is in..Coach, goaltender situations above others.

So, you're suggesting the goaltenders and head coach are holding this team back from post season glory?

Why? It was 2-2 with about 3:05 left.
I said above others..I think Pens could be a lot lot better team with the same core(they're playing fine and don't make that much money). But Dubas lead us to this team..

Acciari lolol. So unskilled. Get off the f******g ice you idiot. Why was he at the end of a minute + shift to get his pocket picked easily by Kucherov after stumbling over the blue line?

But he's building this team. And he could've done a much better job. Why not get rid of Sullivan, why not get in young players etc
The Penguins' best young forwards are all in their first season of North American pro hockey. Rutger McGroarty and Tristan Broz were both playing college hockey last year. Ville Koivunen was in the Finnish league. Letting them develop most of the year is good for their long-term future.

Pickering got promoted out of necessity due to injuries, but playing top pairing minutes in the AHL wouldn't have been the worst thing for him this year.

Even Blomqvist has been up and down at times this year in the AHL. While he's clearly better than Jarry and Ned, do you really want him finishing his development behind this team?

Sometimes the hardest thing to do in sports is to be patient and let players develop instead of forcing them to play out of position or in a bad situation.

Yes. Franchises succeed when they play the best players at their positions.

You remember Marc Andre Fleury right?

We have a new Samuel Poulin named Rutger who will get 8 minutes a night.

Meanwhile our cross state rival…

Columbus has injuries in its top six to be able to do that.

The Pens are only missing Malkin, and the candidate to replace him - Tristan Broz - is out right now.

No one is basing their Jarry frustrations on a single breakaway goal

Nah. Total bullshit. Evason going back to the Wild coaches a room of accountability.

Same thing with Monty in Boston.

Sullivan gives shitbirds rope. You just preach at his altar.

You mean the same Fleury who they sheltered for the first half of the 2003-04 season, allowed to go play in the junior championships, and then sent back to the QMJHL for the rest of the season? And then, after the lockout, began the 2005-06 season in the AHL?

Huh. Got him fired in Minnesota.

Scotty Bowman could be coaching this team right now. The plan would be the same.

I don’t know what the argument is right now, but if this is the best lineup they can ice, I think it’s time to sell the franchise for a pack of Pokemon cards

Blomqvist is 23 and played in the AHL last year.

Fleury was 22 in 2005-06.

There is no reason to shelter him and the current goalie situation is forcing Murashov in a league that NHL talent rarely comes out of.

There is no reason to have Blomqvist in the A right now.

So because our franchise is morons and has held onto a coach that would be fired by any other franchise at this point, that is a good thing?

Can we afford to have him in the NHL right now? Like with the cap

You can waive Jarry. He has no protection and nobody is taking him.

The issue is Dubas isn’t a winner, he’s a politician and the moment he makes that move he is the one being questioned.
Look, I hate Jarry as much or more than anyone, but that’s a gnarly contract to waive. Can’t we just… make him disappear some other, more cap-friendly, way?

Fleury had played 188 regular season and playoff games in the QMJHL, plus 79 games in the AHL/NHL season before the 2005-06 season.

Blomqvist had played 77 total professional games before last season. He had never played more than 30 in a season.

It's not about age, but game experience.

Murashov has 7 games in the KHL. He has a lot of promise, but his experience has been in the MHL, a league that's probably not much better - if at all - than the ECHL.

This is honestly so dumb.

Successful teams put their prospects in situations to contribute to their NHL roster and succeed.

This team does not do that.
