Our serious lack of goal scorers is killing us. That wasn't really addressed in the off season except Williams, who's now old and slower than he used to be. Still good but less potent. Aho, and Rask can't even get shots off, Lindy missing per usual, and everything else is clogged up, or stopped by the goal tender. Until they add more goal scorers, I can't see the outcome changing all that much. Darling also probably could have stopped that, but what does Tampa do well? Go to the net. Score on rebounds.

Well said. But the rebound/opportunistic scoring has only really been good for us since that rash of injuries at the end of last year and it's carried over now. For a while there under Boucher we could score some real chippy goals and then Coop took over and we thought we were the globe trotters

It's gonna sound nuts but Duchene would be incredible on the Canes. You guys have the biggest gluttony of defensemen in the NHL and I'd say no one but Faulk should be off limits when acquiring that #1 C

Duchene would be welcomed here, but the last I heard Sakic wanted Hanifin + 1st.
Issue with trading that, we have no lock on Duchene staying past his contract.
Hanifin for Sam Reinhardt, that’s a move that I could see happening.
