Massively unfortunately. Our right side is a joke and all 3 (4?) are PK liabilities.

Our PK was garbage before we called Vinny up years ago and only started to turn around then. Back to the gutter now.

Ceci, as bad as he was 5v5, was a pretty good killer too.

Emberson and Stecher have by far the best numbers on the PK.

The three worst D on the PK statistically are lefties.

Saying be nice to get a big save means that they think a save was possible, and that Skinner couldn't deliver on that specific goal. That is saying it's his fault. It's pretty basic.

There's nuance there. For me it's not that he absolutely should have saved the goal; that's not a save you expect from your goaltenders.

For me the problem is that all NHL level goaltenders give you saves they're not expected to make sometimes, that's why they're in the NHL. But Skinner never does.

And you can see that bare itself out in the stats. Not only are we bottom five in save percentage and HDSV%, but we are are top two in the league in lowest amount of shots and lowest amount of High Danger chances given up. Yet still, we're below average in goals against.

It's the frustration that we see the other goaltender make a save like that every game against us, yet we never get it. In a vacuum you don't mind the GA, it's just the accumulated amount of other teams getting it and us not getting it.

I get that there's accumulated frustration. I just don't see the value in its omnipresence in a game that we're (now) winning (yay Connor), especially after he actually did make the big save that everyone's clamouring for.
