I think Emberson has done well recently when paired with Kulak. Dermott adds nothing and throws things into a blender which I think hurts everyone.

I don’t think there’s a C in the league that gets caught below the puck more often than McDavid. The puck can be on the oppo goal line and the guy will be caught on the wrong side of it. He has absolutely zero regard for how the center position is supposed to be played and it screws up everyone he plays with who’ve been taught to play hockey a certain way their entire life.

The team is at its best when he plays with proper structure and at its worse when he goes rogue and plays however the hell he wants.
