Since the start of the season the "Insiders" have not provided much info on this situation. Remember back right before the season started the "insiders" had a lot of posters here creaming in their pants because supposedly the Devils and Hall were trying to make this happen sooner rather than later. It appears the Devils never even made Hall an offer at all and if they did it would have only been for 5 years.
